Vina Coco is a coconut jelly factory built on an area of 11,000 m2 at Lot V2E, Street 11, Ho Nai Industrial Park, Dong Nai province, one of the largest industrial centers in Vietnam. The factory was equipped with processes to produce the best quality coconut jelly. Ingredients are carefully selected with a closed standard process. Vina Coco is the top supplier of coconut jelly in Vietnam.
Faculty of Engineering and Technology students had a chance to meet and talk with Mr. Tran Van Hai, Factory Manager. Mr. Hai shared about business activities, factory products, mission & vision, and job opportunities. The students visited a coconut jelly production process and learned about the standards in the selection of raw materials and the requirements for each production stage of the factory.
It was valuable for students majoring in Food Technology to have the opportunity to interact with the company in the actual working environment. From things the company shared, the students were highly excited and motivated to study hard to get the necessary things after graduating. It’s a goal that Van Hien University and its lecturers follow with the hope that our students will have such skills and experience. We also hope to train an outstanding labor generation for businesses in general, for GC Company Food in particular.
Hopefully, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Van Hien University and Vina Coco will have more connections in training and job opportunities shortly. We also wish Vina Coco more and more success and development.
Through this trip, FoodTech students will gain more confidence, try harder, and continue to keep their passion for learning.
